Bison Buffalograss is a native, perennial, warm-season, sod forming short grass, that is well adapted to dry climates and very winter hardy. It spreads by surface runners that take root at the joints. With growth from 2 to 6 inches tall, it is a very economical grass, requiring very few mowings through the year. It may be propagated either by sod pieces or seed.
