$21.50 – $345.00
Sky-blue spikes in late summer — one of the few true blues on the prairie, and hummingbirds find it every year.
SIZEPitcher Sage, Salvia azurea, is recognized by its tall, generally unbranched, gray-green stems with two-lipped blue flowers. Blue sage can be found from the West Rocky Mountains to Northern Mexico. In Oklahoma, populations are encountered primarily across the body of the state in adapted clay, loamy and sandy soils as scattered plants in tall grass and mixed grass prairies.
One of the few genuinely blue-flowered prairie natives.

Tubular blooms are a hummingbird favorite.
Drought tolerance on dry upland sites.
