RED RIVER CRABGRASS

Crabgrass is a high quality summer annual forage that is well adapted to the southern U.S.  Although most often regarded as a weed, it is a valuable source of forage in many grazing and haying systems. ‘Red River’ was developed from a hairy crabgrass species Digitaria ciliaris at the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation in Ardmore, OK. ‘Red River’ was selected and released based on its improved forage production and forage quality.

KING ANNUAL RYEGRASS

King annual ryegrass is an aggressive producer of short term forage, suitable for both beef and dairy. As a cover crop or buffer strip, King provides many positive economic and environmental benefits.

SIERRA RYEGRASS

An early maturing new generation diploid cultivar with excellent drought and cold tolerance. Sierra has a medium-wide leaf and dense crown which is excellent for grazing purposes. Sierra has strong seedling vigor and is highly palatable. Newer cold tolerant varieties such as Sierra can now be planted in colder regions of North America with confidence. It is ideal for producing high quality grass hay, lush pastures for grazing and for creating high quality alfalfa/grass hay.

TAMTBO ANNUAL RYEGRASS

 TAMTBO is a forage-type annual ryegrass developed for high forage production in East Texas, the Deep South and Mid South of the USA. It can be over-seeded on warm season perennial pastures, or drilled into prepared seedbeds in the autumn.
