Breakout II Turf Annual Ryegrass
Summary
Breakout II is the latest generation of turf-type annual ryegrass. This variety was selected for fine texture, better density, mowing quality, and improved turf quality. Compared to other turf-type annuals, Breakout II does very well in overseeding trials. A key trait of Breakout II is that it germinates quickly; providing a playing surface comparable in turf quality and wear to perennial and intermediate ryegrasses.

How to Use & Apply
Breakout II Turf Annual Ryegrass will germinate with soil temps in the mid-40’s F. This allows for successful overseeding results for late season renovation after the playing season has ended. Late season renovation provides field protection for winter and early spring practice and play.
